About Me
About Me
Rachel Malecha, Massage Essentials Northfield MN

Owner of Massage Essentials
I am a licensed Registered Nurse and a Board Certified massage therapist with the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). I received my massage training from Northern Lights College of Massage in Minneapolis, Minnesota and worked in a variety of settings including a massage clinic and a chiropractic office. I continued my journey in complementary and alternative medicine by opening my own business, Massage Essentials, in 2001. In 2010 I returned to school at St. Olaf College to obtain my nursing degree. I now share my time between giving massage and working at M Health Fairview Ridges as an NICU nurse.
In my free time, I like to travel and spend time outdoors walking, kayaking and hiking with my two boys. I also love to cook and enjoy spending time with my friends doing just about anything crafty.
